K-9 Seminar and Evaluations

NASDN's week long Fall Seminar will be at Camp Ripley in Minnesota, Sept. 27- Oct. 3, 2009.
Courses will be offered in Air Scent, Cadaver Detection and Mantrailing. Instruction is available at all skill levels.
Evaluations in Air Scent, Cadaver Detection, Basic Mantrailing and Advanced Mantrailing will be available to full NASDN members. In addition, the NASAR Sar Tech II and AKC Canine Good Citizen Tests will be offered.
Camp Ripley is an Army National Guard Base located in central Minnesota. We have access to hundreds of acres of varied terrain, buildings a lake and urban areas. Our preferred housing at Camp Ripley is small private rooms with two rooms sharing a bathroom. Because the military has first priority, the camp may change our housing to larger shared rooms. The camp personnel are excellent hosts and have always given us plenty of notice when they need to modify our reservations. Reasonably priced meals are available on base at either the Dining Hall or the Snack Bar. There are plenty of off base dining options.
One of the most requested things for our Camp Ripley seminars has been pre paid meals. This year we are offering a pre-paid meal option on the registration form for anyone interested. Please note that this option is based on regular meal prices. If you choose it you'll pay up front and you will not be refunded for any meals you choose to eat off site. For those not interested in pre-paying, you will still have the ability to pay as you go. The meal plan is $100.00 and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner starting with dinner on Sept. 27 and ending with breakfast on Oct. 3. The pizza party on Friday, Oct. 2 is included with a regular registration.
