Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010
  • Early Check in for teams taking Eval's on Monday (Contact Us and we will arrange lodging at the camp.)
  • Dinner on our own
  • 7:00 PM - NASDN Board of Directors Meeting

Monday, Sept. 27, 2010
  • Check in
  • Evaluations all day. Observers are welcome.
  • 7:30 PM - NASDN Membership Meeting, everyone is welcome.

Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010
  • Evaluations Continue by Disciple if Required / Training all day
  • 7:00 PM - Chuck Melvin: “Pheromonal” Communications"
    (We ask that everyone please come to the presentations that have been arranged for you during this seminar)

Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010
  • Training all day
  • 7:00 PM - Chuck Melvin: "Introduction to Scent Theory"
    (We ask that everyone please come to the presentations that have been arranged for you during this seminar)

Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010
  • Training all day
  • CGC Testing (time to be determined)
  • Evening: Evaluations, retests, etc.

Friday, Oct 1, 2010
  • Training all day
  • 7:30 PM - NASDN Auction (please remember to bring auction items)

Saturday, Oct 2, 2010
  • Complete any remaining Evaluations.
  • Finish up with classes.
  • Lunch at Camp
  • Have a safe trip home.
  • NASDN Board of Directors meeting at 1:00 PM


This schedule may change throughout the seminr week, all major changes will be announced during the breakfast meals. All internal changes regarding the individual disciplines (evaluations, training etc.) will be announced by the instructors for those areas..

  • Charles E. “Chuck” Melvin will be our evening speaker on Sept 28 and 29.
    For the past 32 years, Mr. Chuck Melvin has served as an EMT Instructor and Coordinator for the San Juan Basin Technical College. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Biological Science from Fort Lewis College, Colorado, and a Masters Degree in Entomology from the University of Wyoming. Mr. Melvin has been Team Commander for K-9 Search and Rescue Team Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer K-9 team since 1990 and has led the team through 391 missions. He has trained and fielded canines throughout this time, responding to requests for assistance in 11 states. He is a Canine Specialist with First Special Response Group, responding internationally.
Meals will be served at Camp Kitaki. Classes will break according to the Camp's meal schedule.
