These are a few suggestions and reminders on what to bring. It's not a complete packing list. If you're flying to the seminar you might want to ask someone to bring some of the bulkier items for you. Please bring an item to donate to NASDN's Fundraising Auction.
Beds are provided in the cabins, but not bedding. The cabins are heated.
- sheets and blanket or a sleeping bag
- a pillow
- towels
- toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo etc.)
- minor first aid supplies
- flashlight and extra batteries
The weather in Nebraska in late September could be almost anything. It is usually a very comfortable month. Snow is unusual but not impossible. Warm weather is not out of the question. So bring:
- raingear
- appropriate clothing for daytime high temperatures up to the 80's.
- appropriate clothing for nighttime low temperatures down to the 30's.
- comfortable footwear
Your dog needs stuff too.
- kennel
- food
- water
- food and water bowls
- leash, collar and any other tack you need
- water bottle
- any grooming supplies you need
- vaccination records
A few more things you might want.
- cooler
- small fan
- notebook
- a GPS receiver if you have one
- a FRS radio if you have one
- an extra item to donate to NASDN's Fundraising Auction
